EDIBLE INSECTS ECOSYSTEM
[COMPLETED] Roadmapping an edible insects ecosystem
The primary goal of this project was to explore how an edible insects business ecosystem could be built and structure. With consumer demand a major barrier for insects, we had to deeply investigate this problem. Together with Finnish companies, producers and research bodies, we brainstormed new possibilities and solutions to grow demand for edible insects.
Through the project, a business roadmap was designed including 3 key strategies to grow help grow market demand for insects.
FOOD INDUSTRY STRATEGY
[COMPLETED] Creating a sustainability strategy for the Aland food industry
The mission of this project was to develop a sustainability strategy in cooperation with the entire agricultural, fishery and food industry on Åland islands. The work spanned over several months and included industry workshops, personal meetings as well as desk research and work.
The outcome of the project was a jointly accepted sustainability strategy, which will now be put to practice in all the industries involved.
