In this international collaboration between project partners in Finland, Estonia and Latvia, we are working to improve the efficiency of nutrient use in farming, the potential for nutrient recycling, and ways to improve nutrient use and recycling at the farm level. The project combines experimental measurements and links them to digital measurement data. The project develops digital tools and data infrastructure, strengthens farmers' expertise, pilots and validates solutions under farm conditions, and builds international and national networks. The project also develops and tests a farmer's toolkit, which allows farmers to monitor the effectiveness of measures to improve nutrient recycling and use on their farm and document their observations in the digital environment produced during the project.
