The project aims to promote sustainable nutrient management and circular economy practices in primary production through the following sub-objectives:
Improve the efficiency of nutrient management and utilization
Produce scientific and practical information on the behavior of nutrients in the soil and in the crop cycle to optimize fertilization, reduce nutrient leakage and improve resource efficiency at the farm level.
Develop digital tools and data infrastructure
Test and pilot a data management system and a digital service for farmers that combines nutrient modeling, observable measurement methods to support farmer decision-making, and soil analyses.
Strengthen farmers' expertise and advisory services
Provide targeted guidance material and decision-making frameworks to fill knowledge gaps, especially regarding nutrient use efficiency and sustainable fertilization methods and techniques.
Validate and scale innovative solutions
Pilot and validate digital tools and measurement methods in real farm conditions, collect feedback from farmers and develop a roadmap for commercialization and large-scale deployment.
Strengthen collaboration and knowledge dissemination
Build international and national networks, organize annual events and study tours, and publish results in professional and scientific channels to support large-scale deployment and CAP and national strategies.
