TARGET GROUP
This field day is designed for farmers, agronomists and advisors who want to deepen their knowledge of soil and plant health, crop management and sustainable methods to build resilient agricultural systems. The content is suitable for all types of farming orientations. The content is suitable for beginners and students as well as those who have had time to familiarize themselves with the issues in more depth.
The event has space for a maximum of 50 participants. Places will be filled according to how many registrations are received.
WHO IS JOEL WILLIAMS?
Joel Williams is an independent trainer and consultant in plant and soil health who has worked extensively in Australia, Europe and Canada where he is currently based. He has a keen interest in soil health, plant nutrition and plant and soil microbiomes and how these can support the development of sustainable production systems. Joel has a BSc in Agricultural Science specialising in plant and soil dynamics and an MSc in Food Policy where he explored the motivations and barriers to intercropping.
Joel has a passion for teaching and sharing a combination of scientific and practical information and lectures to agricultural audiences worldwide.
